HURRICANE, W.V. -- The 2013-14 Pipesounds Concert Series on the Harrah Symphonic Organ will continue Friday, March 28, at Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church, 2757 Main St.

This event will feature the silent film "Spite Marriage," starring Buster Keaton. John Schwandt will provide the music on the Harrah Symphonic Organ.

The show will start at 7 p.m.

The film, made in 1929, features an unimpressive but well intending man who is given the chance to marry a popular actress, of whom he has been a hopeless fan. But what he doesn't realize is that he is being used to make the actress' old flame jealous.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students and free for children ages 5 and under. Tickets are available at the church office.

The final show of the season will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 11. The performance will be "Fanfare for the Common Man" with David F. Donathan along with a brass quintet and percussionist.
